Mike W9MDB had asked that users of WSJTX & JTDX install and check out a new hamlib dll in so doing this is what I found using JTDX. Following is a email I sent to Mike.
I am finding that the new hamlib you put out works with my Flex 5000a and Flex 3000 but only as long as I use JTDX .152
When ever I try one of several newer versions of JTDX .159 ,160.1, 160.2 In all of these newer version hamlib changed
in the rig select drop down Flex Radio Power SDR is not there as a single selection it seems to be combined with
other radios and is not working it will not connect or will not stay connected to the power SDR. If it connects then
when trying to change freq it disconnects after this it will no longer connect back to radio.
JTDX .152 which has power sdr alone by itself in the dropdown works perfect on both the 5000a & 3000 both in split
and fake it.

Jtdx 152 had static hamlib, it can’t be changed. Looks like flex support is not working in newer hamlib.
