HW SunSDR2 DX, SW Win 10, v2.2.160-rc2, ExpertSDR3 V13 Build 25102022 using TCI to connect:
In settings und Audio remembering Power Settings by band and mode for Tune as well, I have difficulties to control the Tune Power Level.
However I set Drive in EESDR3 when I go to tune it is overwritten with a stored value. Changing the PWR setting on the JTDX interface only changes the Transmit Power. There is no indiction anywhere I am aware of to understand what Power Level will be applied clicking "Tune" in JTDX. This can be very dangerous working with a PA.
Is there a way to understand what the Tune Power setting is and to control it via the interface or a setting? I just did not tick this in settings anymore in order to probably have the same setting applied as stored for Transmit.
I tried to change the Tune setting when Tune was pressed but the results were different but not really what I expected.
Any hint on this. It would for sure be great to set that power level if enabled on the interface next to the Transmit Power level.
73, Peter

In general there 2 independent power settings can be remembered Normal and Tune. When you click Tune (then Normal setting is remembered ) and set power for tuning then when you end tune then power is remembered as Tune power and Normal power value ( which was B4 pressing Tune) is restored. Tune is intended to use for antenna tuning and usually should have smaller value as normal mode. Don’t touch Drive in esdr, JTDX is programmed to work without looking esdr at all, except for some initial setup. This should be so, ( as I don’t use tuner anymore then also not used Tune in JTDX long time) will have closer look. Why to use PA with JTDX? Look what is going on bands, what QRM users with PA-s are making ( sure not all of them ).
Edit:
Tune is working exactly as I described.
