Why is there a mouse cursor symbol in the right pane and this mouse symbol disappears on the left pane and gets replaced by a text cursor indicator ? This makes it difficult to double-click a station to activate a QSO ! I often double click on the wrong line then...
Mind you I am 72 years old and find it difficult to double click a station when there is no standard mouse cursor that I can adjust the size and color (I use automatic reverse color for mouse cursor). It is black on white bacground and revert to white on dark background.

Michel, you did not tell us: what JTDX version, Windows or Mac or Linux ?
Any text macro software in the background, like 'FastKeys' or such ?
Btw. I run JTDX on Windows 10 here - used all version up to the recent - never seen this, or has been reported by someone.

Interesting. I thought at one point that this worked correctly since you mention it. I don't know how I managed to get a software confused with textboxes focus...
Sorry I forgot to mention: running JTDX for Windows 2.2.159 on Windows 11 on Dell XPS8640 using i9 CPU.
No I don't have any macro software running and trying to bring the left pane focused does not make the mouse cursor to re-appear.
Let me try to re-install 159 again. Maybe it has something to do with the dark mode. Let me check.

But the question remain... why on earth does the mouse cursor dissappear by just hovering it above different textboxes

I have the same issue. The only way I found to get pointer back is to close program and re-start.

You mean it's not supposed to be a text cursor? ;-) Seriously, I keep the program running for a long time and that's what I usually see. I have poor eyesight too and set the cursor size up a notch from default, and the big-I bar cursor surrounds the line I'm trying to click on. I find that more precise than the arrow.
But I did just restart it to see what would happen and I did get an arrow cursor instead.
One BIG advantage of JTDX over WSJT-X is how the cursor works. In JTDX, if I double click on the Band Activity window, I get whoever I clicked on, and if I'm sort of in between, I get one or the other, which is behavior one expects. In WSJT-X, if I don't click correctly on a line, I get (and start calling) whoever happens to be at the BOTTOM of the Band Activity window at that moment, or near there, nowhere near where I clicked. Very annoying. This btw is on Windows.
