I had to reinstall JTDX 2.2.159 after I reimaged Windows. All decoded entities are now showing up as "where?"
I think I'm missing some file. Where can I get it, and where does it go?

Steve, you are missing the 'cty.dat' file. More details an a new file can be found here. www.country-files.com/ Use the 'BIG CTY' In case, you have to rename one of them to 'cty.dat' 73's de OE1MWW Wolfgang

Wolfgang,
Thanks. Where does the cty.dat file go? I tried putting it in the logs folder (C:\Users\steve\AppData\Local\JTDX in my case) and that had no effect.

into c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\JTDX\ Replace <username> with your Windows installation user name This directory contains the log file, the JTDX.ini and others.
If that does not solve the problem:
- make notes of all your JTDX settings (screen shot or write it down)
- stop JTDX - rename JTDX.ini to something like JTDX.ini.old - start JTDX and run through all settings.

I tried putting it there and restarting JTDX. No effect. Do I have to reinstall JTDX or change a setting?

Found it, hadn't set my own call. Worked OK after I did.
