I just installed JTDX and have a question.
I see the country column in the band activity window sometimes has an asterisk in front of the country name. Also some names are in bold font and some in regular font. Will someone please explain the meaning of these indicators?

Kelby,
those are extra markings of the decoder:
sybmol • - this operator loaded his log into LoTW
symbol ° - this operator loaded his log into LoTW and this is Hint decode (FT8 AP or matched filter based decoder in JT65 JT9 T10 modes)
symbol * - Hint decode (FT8 AP or matched filter based decoder in JT65 JT9 T10 modes)

In my setup, 'CQ' calls are in green background and they are in bold |

No, I mean the bold vs regular text for the country name in the country column. Is there some special meaning?

Bold is used ( to whole row ) when decoded row falls into something New determined in Notifications.
