I have my IC-7300 that is sending very reduced power when is at the edges of the waterfall (< 300 and > 2500 Hz). This is particularly annoyoing when I am in F/H mode and the Dx station is TX around 200/300 Hz What am I missed in my setup?
Thanks

Use "Fake It" under Split in the radio set up tab; . John - G7SSE

Rig Split works just fine with a 7300. You can get the 7300's bandwidth to behave better with more width for receive (split mode only uses 1500-2000Hz for transmit so width doesn't matter as much for transmit).

... when is at the edges of the waterfall (< 300 and > 2500 Hz). This is a result of your TX audio filters. As John, G7SSE showed you, 'Fake it' will help. But check your IC-7300 manual 'Setting the transmit filter width' for your 'SSB-D' filter. Filter in IC-7300 is by default 300Hz to 2700Hz, but according to 'Tone control/TBW' settings of 100Hz to 2900Hz should be possible.
