I am hoping someone might be able to help me with a problem. I quite frequently see D2UY from Angora calling CQ on my JTAlert yet when I double click on his call JTDX (v 159) does not populate his call so I can call him and his call does not show up in JTDX, I have check my settings and can not find anywhere that might have been turned on
by mistake to cause this to happen.
I have tested this on WSJTX and it works fine yet not on JTDX which I use all the time, is there anything that someone might know that would
cause this? I dont have any issues with any other calls so far.

You should have some filter active. I done special test for You, all is working.

worked b4 also hide is not selected in notifications tab? Do you see him when Bypass active in main window?

I have never worked him before that is why i was asking why i cant get to him, JTDX just doesnt populate him at all, i have worked b4 ticked as i am happy to talk with the same station. He does now show up in any window in JTDX, I run JTAlert side by side with JTDX and his call comes up in there and when i click on it it just doesnt populate JTDX, however If i run WSJT with tyhe same settings as JTDX it works fine, that is what i find strange that one program works but the other doesnt.
In answer to the main screen, he doesnt even show up in that.
Will try for a SCREENSHOT NEXT TIME I SEE HIM ON.

Yep this is strange, I don’t have any explanation, I would say that this is impossible in jtdx that he decodes a message, populates it to udp ( Alert can get it only from there) and don’t show this message in any jtdx window. And this only for one dxcc or callsign.

Thanks Arvo for trying to help me, as I said earlier I will try to get a screen shot next time he is on so you can see it, I have no answers either that is why i asked here. Adn Yes so far it has only been his call
and no one else yet.

Hio Arvo, D2UY showed up again, and this time he showed up on JTDX - YIIIIPPPPEEEEE I had the bypass button on, so that must have done the trick because I dont normally have that turned on.

Ok now clear why, You have outdated or partly corrupted cty.dat file. Please put attached file into log dir alongside with wsjtx_log.adi.
Now jtdx should show dxcc name "Angola" and bypass is not needed.
And this is not original jtdx rather that some kind of "improved" build. Next time ask builder souch kind of questions.
