Lately I have been having some problems with my installation of JTDX v2.2.0-rc155 running on a Windows 8.1 Bing laptop. I can see multiple signals in the waterfall but nothing is appearing in the Band Activity panel....I have closed this and opened WSJTx and can see multiple signals in the Band Activity window and callsigns in JTALERT. I've been through the settings on JTDX and tried this and that, but I am obviously missing something as the signals are still not being decoded.
Can anyone offer me any guidance...I've looked through the forum and can't find anything relating to this problem. Oh, and I have reloaded the software already, thinking that was the problem.
Thanks Ron WA8KQF

Ron, 'reloading' or un- and reinstalling JTDX will not change anything. JTDX installation is a simple copy into the chosen directory plus openening a directory in C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\JTDX\ (xxx = your name) at the first start. Uninstall will not delete/remove this directory. Next install JTDX is looking for the files in this directory and use them again. If you want to start JTDX with 'clean' settings, delete in this directory the JTDX.ini (or rename it) and start JTDX again. Now you have to enter all settings again.

Thank you Wolfgang... I always use timeis and I generally have to restart the laptop because most of the time the system clock is off....I will try your solution for the simple restart after copying... Thanks so much! Ron
