I've been using JTDX for at least a few weeks now. No problem. I switched from JTX because of the amount of decodes compared. Now all of sudden I have a small notice on the top of the Left side screen... Partial Loss of Data. If it go back to JTX it's fine. There are a ton of stations. I am using this on a Windows 7 laptop. I tried adjusting the audio on the computer. No change. Transmit appears fine. Any Suggestions??

"If it go back to JTX it's fine. " what does that mean ? Partial loss of data means - JTDX can not complete the decoding within the time frame. Reason could be: slow PC, any (unnecessary) Anti-Virus stuff, hardware driver that creating delays, to name some. Partial Loss of Data has nothing to do with audio input/output, better not to fiddle around on this settings. Btw., did you check the settings in JTDX, set for relaxed decoding and not for deep and make sure your PC time setting is precise => time.is/

Thanks very much. Still confused as to what in the computer is slowing it down. It's a laptop w/windows 7 and very little else running on it. Funny thing is SJTX runs fine. And this used to run fine. I'll continue to search the sytem to see what else is running that would slow it.

Did you check your laptop clock - use your browser and open time.is/Disable any 'virus checker' etc. They may slow down any process. help can be given more easily if you write correctly: 'WSJT-X' or 'JTDX'. Those are the names of the two software packages. JTDX is a derivate of WSJT-X

Try this .wav file by open it in 'File' 'Open' in JTDX and in WSJT-X to compare. Does WSJT-X report 'Partial Loss of Data', (?) or does it simply not decode.
