Hello I am a long time user and supporter of JTDX in 2021 I upgraded my computer to a better MB and CPU to include a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of ram and a Nvidia GTX760 video card OS is Windows 10 with all updates. I do not run a bunch of junk on computer and recently started using only the logging part of HRD while operating FT8 with rig control from JTDX (no HRD rig control). My problem is I still get high LAG readings with any of the newer revisions anything in the upper 150 range. I can use JTDX 2.2.0 RC152 and maintain reasonable lag readings less than .4 for most decode sequences. With JTDX 158 lag readings are always into the +1`s to as high as 4. Looking at Task manager during decode sessions shows brief CPU use at a max of 45% with memory being steady a around 30%. I have included some screen shots. Some of my JTDX setting are: Auto seq to 3, threads to auto, qso sensitivity to Medium, decoder sensitivity to low thresholds, decoder cycles to 2, swl cycles to 2. Any suggestions other than lower the sensitivity which would seem to me to be the reason to use JTDX and the newer versions would be appreciated. Thanks Morris WA4MIT

Hi Morris
First, never use SWL mode for making QSO-s. Further: Set decoding cycles to 1 and enable early start of decoder and all should be perfect. If You get a negative Lag in average now, then You can go using subpass in decoder sensitivity.

Hello Arvo thanks for your fast reply. I have implemented the changes you suggested and this has helped very much. Decode lag times are now in the negative and stay that way. I had ask this same question on the old forum and never received a good answer. So again many thanks you have been a great help. My best 73`s. Morris WA4MIT

Good afternoon, excuse me for putting myself in the middle of the post, so as not to open another post being the same as the LAG, my question is the following: if I have it +0.18, sometimes I see it at -0.05, would this be fine??? I'm running with Imac. Regards
