Is it at all possible to change the background color of the frequency window. I use Dark Mode to protect my eyes. TIA George

AFIK the color of indivudal windows can not be changed - and to my knowledge there is no plan to do so. This would end in an constantly ongoing discussion & wish list.
Btw. properly set up white screen does not do harm to the viewers eyes. 'Dark mode' initially designed for mobile phones to reduce power consumption due to the summary of lower brightness all over the screen became de facto an fashion feature for all kind of software.

I use dark style all the time, same reason, default setting for dark style should be OK.

Just being curious, does one can show/quote at least single scientifically substantiated
examination/test results on which "fashion mode" - regular white or dark - is more deleterious on human eyesight?
If there's __NONE__, then this is exclusively the matter of personal preferences, nothing else!

Tom, your criticism on all my posts in this forum, decorated with none related aphorisms are obvious. I just wonder why?
Let's get back to the first question: Just use Google, there are many links, one of them:
Note: what is said for web pages is certainly the same for user interfaces in software.
But we are using JTDX, a free software for a hobby - yes, anything is possible, as long as the software provides it ;-)
