This seems to have happened pretty recently to me. When I operate F/H, when I transmit a reply to the FOX station, my transmit frequency will shift to their tx frequency. I DON'T have the tx=rx box checked, it's set to split. My tx freq. stays where I set it until the other station answers me then it shifts. Any clue why this is suddenly happening?

Hi Jon,
This is exactly how its supposed to work with F/H. The fox operates below 1000. Everyone else calls the fox above 1000. When the fox answers you, you will tx on their frequency to make sure the answer comes through clearly (supposedly no one else is there)...

hi
in mode F/H Menu/DXpedition switch "Use hound TX frequency control" if OFF frequency will remain unchanged

In fact one time I called the DX on his tx freq and got an email from a ham in Iowa telling me I was doing it wrong (that was before I figured out what f/h even was). Maybe I just didn't pay attention other times using f/h, but I swear my tx didn't shift to his until recently. The time I noticed this first was calling ET3AA, and when my tx shifted to his, he called me 3 times and moved on (twice). I finally click hound off and worked him on my tx freq. What do you think? 73, Jon WB8YJF

73! de Jacek SQ9ETV HI Jacek, I will check the setting out and see if that's the issue. Thanks! 73, Jon WB8YJF PS: I'm married to a Polish woman!
