Hi Can please someone tell me if working split on the same band is possible. Today VU7A was transmitting 1817 khz and listening on 1836khz FT8. I;m using JTDX and a Icom 7610. Only with the USB cable no extra audio cable.
I am using Ver 1.55 JTDX , with a Rasp Pi , is there a .deb file for a later version around for the Pi
Many thanks Peter VK5PW

What about having SPLIT activated on the radio... VFO A, RX VFO B, TX I hope this helps !! Note: Have a look to page 4-9 of IC7610's manual. Portion: Using the receive and transmit frequencies set to Main and Sub

In JTDX set Split to None and then manually set Split on the rig and VFOB to 1817 Set JTDX to 1836 and it will set VFOA.

Thanks for the replies, to get this working in a hurry , I just plugged an audio cable to a separate laptop into a headphone jack of the 7610, as both rx come out on the headphone jack. Then selected dual watch , and just stepped jtdx on tx as I watched the laptop. Worked fine, I should have selected split to None ,but sometimes in a hurry you cant experiment when a rare dx is only there for 10 mins. 73 Peter
