Hi all,
I downloaded and installed the updated Mac version: jtdx-2.2.158-darwin-x86_64
I installed it replacing the previous release that was also jtdx-2.2.158-darwin-x86_64 that I had downloaded on 01Jan2022. It had been running glitch-free since then.
Unfortunately, the version I downloaded today is deaf. The db meter on the lower right side of the screen shows no audio and the the waterfall is not displaying any signals.
I noticed that this most recent update was 40.6 MB while the previous version was 43.4 MB.
Any clues as to what might be wrong?
Thanks & 73, de Paul K1ABC

Look jtdx has permission to use soundcard microphone ( in general any sound capture device) . It should ask it on first run once, but if bypassed, permission needs to be granted afterwards.

I reinstalled and it asked for mic permissions. Now working fine. Thanks.
Some additional questions:
- Why is the file size 2.8 MB smaller than the previous release with the same filename? Can you use a point release filename to differentiate between the two? - I am running this on Monterey, but I do not see you listing it as one of the supported MacOS releases. - Can the "0" kHz be adjusted so it shows on the waterfall display? It is currently only partially visible.
Thanks & 73, de Paul K1ABC

This build is smaller as hamlib is built in as shared dynlib. in general waterfall start should be 100 Hz ( ok at least I use so ).
