Minor severity on this one. 2.2.159 intermittently won't go into transmit when either Enable TX or Tune are set. Restarting the program has so far cleared the problem. I didn't notice that JTDX had lost CAT connectivity.
Putting it in as a CAT control issue, but it could easily be something else.
Configuration: Radio settings in attached image, Windows 10 Professional.
jtdx_debug.txt exists, but is too dirty to be much help. I'll grab a copy the next time it happens.
Has anyone else seen this?

It just did it. I hit the tune button and nothing happened. Here's jtdx_debug.txt.
I also noticed that the K3 wasn't split at the end of it.

A further data point: Going into Settings-Radio and hitting the Test CAT button clears the problem.

If you're running the debug version of JTDX I need the JTDX_trace.log in %TEMP%

If you're running the debug version of JTDX I need the JTDX_trace.log in %TEMP% OK, I installed the debug version. I'll post the trace log as soon as I reproduce the bug.
I have an older JTDX_trace.log but it's 9 gig long...

After a day of trying, I was unable to reproduce the bug with the debug version of 2.2.159. I went back to the release version. Haven't seen it recur there either.

I am sure there are many of you who have used JTDX and experienced occasional transmission problems, RIG changes to TX but no modulation. What I would like those people to try is to change the "Power Option". Try changing the USB Selective Suspend setting to Disable in the USB settings. If this still happens, try unchecking the "Universal Serial Bus Controller" and "Ports (COM and LPT)" power-related options for each device as well and see what happens.

This problem of no audio TX has been an issue from way back when WSJTX first came out. It seems to happen on a lot of computers but not all and it is more likely to happen when your changing freq to call another station. I personally do not see this often but it does happen and it has happened on cabled audio and on VAC. For some reason the soundcard fails to generate the tones. I brought up issue on WSJTX forum a long time ago probably two computers earlier here. 73 Morris WA4MIT
